One of Dallas/Fort Worth’s favorite harpists, Brigid can be heard playing at weddings, receptions, church services, funerals, networking events, dinners and all manner of special occasions.  Her repertoire spans many genres– classical, light jazz, Celtic, Christmas, Jewish, and pop. Brigid happily accommodates special requests for pieces from any genre. Listeners marvel at her skill and clients refer Brigid not only for her musicality, but also her professionalism.

Brigid has worked hard to attain a high level of mastery by studying under notable harp pedagogues Joan Raeburn Holland, Paula Page, and Susan Pejovich.  She trained at Interlochen Art Academy and earned her B.M. at SMU.  Brigid prides herself on being trained in the Salzedo method, which emphasizes technique in service of musicality.

Brigid also maintains a studio in Ridglea Hills. She teaches lever and pedal harp as well as piano.

Brigid plays on a beautiful Lyon & Healy Style 23 harp in in walnut finish. This particular model is analogous to a Steinway 9-foot grand piano–the gold standard. Its sound is breathtaking and fills a large room. While acoustic music is more aesthetically pleasing, in a higher ambient noise setting, Brigid recommends amplification. She uses a Bose L1 Sound System.
